Friday, March 20th, Tre and I went to Bressi Ranch area to meet up with our playgroup for a little picnic on the grassy area by the Trader Joe's near there. The kids had a blast playing with all of Tre's toys. After the picnic I took Tre home and we decided to put him down for a nap before we headed up to the St. Regis Hotel in Dana Point. Now for the explanation of the St. Regis event.
Sunday, March 22nd, we ran a few errands in the earlier part of the day and then Tre and I had planned to go to my cousin's 1st birthday party up in Orange County. I was a dork though and thought the birthday started at 2pm but it actually started at 12pm so we were pretty late, but we got to spend some time with everyone and it was probably for the better. It was pretty crowded when we got there. Since the weather wasn't so great up there they ended up having it at their house instead of at the park like they had planned. Tre isn't a big fan of large crowds of people indoors so he wasn't super happy when we walked in and all the noise and chaos was going on. Since we were late it didn't last very long and once a lot of people left he was able to play with the birthday girl and her toys.
Monday, March 23rd, we went to the park in the earlier part of the day and then stopped off at Costco. In the afternoon we went for a walk at Tamarack Beach. We love this walk, love the beach view and it's the perfect amount of walking for us. Noa rode in the stroller since sometimes he has a tendency to hold up the group with all the strollers walking he gets a little nervous, I figured just the fact that he was getting some fresh air was fine and it didn't matter that he wasn't walking. He enjoyed the walk probably more this way.
Tuesday, March 24th, we had swim class, where Tre went under water for the first time. I didn't actually expect it and neither did he, but the instructor decided to try passing him to me, in which I thought she meant, above water he would push off to me and I would catch him before he went under, but nope, she pushed him towards me with a little dip underwater. Needless to say Tre was rather shocked, attempted to cry but we all cheered for him that he just sort of sat there with a confused look on his face. The look to me said, okay, so I really want to cry but these ladies are all cheering for me so I guess I did something right even though I don't feel like I liked what just happened. He recovered quickly and went back to bouncing up and down in the water. He loves the water so much that we ended up staying there for like 15 minutes after class to just float around in the water and play. My little water baby! In the afternoon we went over to my friend Allison's house so Tre could play with Cole, Noa could play with her 3 poodles and she and I could chat. We went for a walk as well.
Wednesday, March 25th, Tre had a playdate which was themed a dancing playdate, we each brought a kid friendly cd to play and the kids were able to listen to the music, dance and play together. Tre was doing some serious crawling attempts, he has almost got it and we imagine this will probably happen pretty soon. The rest of the kids at the playdate were walking so it was interesting to see Tre's reaction to it all and his desire to move.
Updates on Tre in general, that 8th tooth that I thought he was getting somehow disappeared. I swear I saw the white of it emerging and felt a rough feeling, however now I've looked in there and don't see it, so that 8th tooth went into hiding. BUT, an official 8th tooth is coming through and I can actually see it and feel it. So the actual tooth count is 8 still. His naps have been interesting to watch on the monitor lately, he has been rolling over a ton in his crib and at times has been sleeping on his tummy. It is so weird to see because I am so used to seeing his little face while he sleeps and to not be able to weirds me out. I took a picture of him on the monitor because I thought it was so funny!

But when I woke up on Friday, March 13th, I started to feel like myself again, still a little weak but no longer body aching and sick to my stomach. Good thing because Tre and I had planned to go to the Wild Animal Park. We had scheduled this two weeks prior so I was really hoping that I would be able to make it. I kept it kind of mellow for the first half of the day and then when it was time for Tre's nap we headed over to the Wild Animal Park since the meetup was scheduled for 2pm. We got to the park and Tre was still sleeping so it was a good thing the rest of the ladies were running a little late. The person that I met there had an extra ticket for me so we got to go in for free, YAY! We also got to go on the Journey into Africa tour for free with her membership. It was a fun time! The only bummer is not getting good pics of Tre and I at the park. But I did manage to take one pic of Tre and I on the tour ride, kind of a silly one.
Saturday, March 14th, Tre, Jammer and I went to Rock'n Sprouts in the Carlsbad Village area for a model search event that they had at the store to find some models for their Spring/Summer clothes. After Tre's morning nap we got him dressed and went over to the store. He was number 51 out of 56 or so kids that were photographed as potential Sprouts for their official photo shoot. It is such a cute store. After they took a few pictures of Tre we ended up getting some sushi for lunch and then back to the house for Tre's midday nap and then when Tre got up I got in touch with my friend Ashley to come down to their new house in Point Loma (they just moved back to SD from Santa Barbara, woo-hoo) and visit with her and their son Connor, who is 6 weeks older than Tre. Their house is super cute and we got to witness Connor trying to feed himself which was so funny, he had food EVERYWHERE, in his hair, on the walls, all over his face, etc. But he looked like he was having fun doing it!Tre in his cute towel poncho that his Uncle Justin got for him...it has ears too...

I was up for 2 more hours in the bathroom, then just when I finally got some sleep I woke up and felt the pain in my stomach again. Tre had woken up and I was trying to take care of him and juggle going to the bathroom as well. Jammer had to work that morning so I was alone. When I had to put Tre down for the second time within the hour I decided to text Jammer to see if there was any way he could take a sick day and come home to help me. I knew there was NO way I was going to be able to do this on my own, I could barely carry Tre. My friend Ashley and her son Connor were supposed to come up and go to the park with Tre and I at 11am and when she text me to confirm the playdate I had to let her know that I wasn't doing so well. She offered to come help me out and came up to the house so Tre and Connor could play together. Shortly after they arrived Jammer came home from work. Once he got home I was able to take a nap or an attempt at a nap since my body was hurting so bad I couldn't get comfortable.

Saturday, February 28th was a mellow, no plans day. We ran a few errands and just chilled. Sunday, March 1st was my friend Edith's birthday BBQ at her house so when Tre woke up from his nap we went over to her house and hung out for a bit.
Monday, March 2nd we had a playdate at Aviara Park, we had a funny experience at the park. Tre's buddy Cole and him wore the same outfits. Funniest part about this is they weren't even planning on seeing each other that day. Allison & Cole had planned to go to a stroller fit class but when they got there the class was cancelled so they decided to come to the park, when Allison got there with Cole she brought Cole out and there he was in the same outfit as Tre. It was a crack up!
My Mom had bought Tre some of those alphabet mats for our living room so while Tre is moving around he has some more cushion and something fun to crawl around on when the time comes. We spelled out his name and I took a few pictures of Tre lined up next to his name. Fun!
So that was our week. Updates on Tre's development...he got ANOTHER tooth. That makes 7 teeth now! No wonder this kid is having issues sleeping sometimes, he hasn't had a rest from teething it seems. Just when a tooth comes in and I think okay he'll get a break, another tooth starts making its way out. Poor little guy! He has gotten much better at drinking from a sippy cup, now actually getting liquid out without my squeezing it to help it along so that was exciting. He is scooting a little bit more and his legs are kicking a ton. He can make it around the room by rolling onto his tummy, then over onto his back until he rotates himself into the direction and position he wants to be in. Most often ending on his back because he tries to avoid being on his tummy at all costs. He is good at propping himself up on his hands but hasn't gotten that he needs to push his weight from one side to the other yet and one hand takes his weight and holds him up and the other tries to move forward. Soon enough he'll get it!
