Thursday, June 18th Tre had a play date over at his buddy Gibson's house. His mom Tina was so awesome, she prepared lunch for the kids and the moms. Totally yum! She also set up Gibson's little swimming pool for the kids to get in and play. The weather was awesome but we didn't bring Tre's swimming clothes so Tina let us use a swim diaper and I rolled up my pants and Tre played in the pool for a bit. Tre had the hiccups practically all day so when it was time for his afternoon nap just as he was falling asleep the dang hiccups came back and woke him back up and it took me a bit longer to accomplish nap time, he eventually went down but a bit later than I would've liked. I was worried bed time would be pushed back due to the late nap. After Tre woke up from his nap we ended up walking to the grocery store to pick up some things. And I was right about the late bedtime thing, he didn't end up going to bed until 9:15pm!! That's the latest he has ever gone to bed as long as he has had an official bedtime.
Friday, June 19th Tre woke up at his normal time even though he went to bed SO much later than normal. Jammer had training up in Irvine today so Tre and I just hung out at the house until my friend Allison had called to see if Tre and I wanted to meet her and Cole at the McDonald's play area for a little run around time (or with Tre more crawl around and walk with Mommy's help time). We hung out there for a bit and Tre learned how to climb up stairs. They have this cushy slide with cushy stairs that Tre was able to grasp easily and climb up. He was SO proud of himself once he made it to the top (there were like 3 or 4 steps). It was too cute and of course I was proud of him too, because I didn't even help boost him up at all, it was all on his own doing. Then we came home and he took a nap. Jammer got out of training and came home as quickly as he could because we had planned to go to Jazz in the Park. Our friend Stu was in town looking at houses to buy so he came up to our house and came with us to Jazz in the Park and we met our friends The Holschlag's there. It was a lot of fun and Tre was cruising around having a great time. Terje is a year older than Tre so Tre was watching him very wide-eyed, taking in all that Terje could do that Tre wasn't able to do yet, mostly Terje's ability to walk without wobbling. Hehe. It was a very fun night!!Here is a video of Tre enjoying hanging out at Jazz in the Park:
Saturday, June 20th was the day of the Annual Father's Day BBQ at my parent's house. Tre took his morning nap and then we got him ready and fed and then when we got in the car we were hoping Tre would take his afternoon nap on the way up. Well, it didn't happen, poor little guy was SO tired but wouldn't go to sleep, he cried and fussed most of the way up there and then instead of saying Hi to everyone we went straight upstairs to put him down for a much needed nap. Jammer ended up napping up there with him since we didn't have our monitor and Tre was needing some comfort. After Tre woke up he had plenty of people that were dying to meet him, he was a busy little guy. It was cool because my cousin Isabelle and my cousin Jarid both have kids close in age with Tre. Isabelle's son, Liam is about 4 months younger than Tre and Jarid's son, Brandon is 5 months younger than Tre. They are all little cuties and I can't wait to watch them grow up together! I did notice, it is a lot harder to get pictures of all that is going on at an event while trying to take care of Tre so the only pics I got were of the kids at the end of the night just before it was time to go.
Sunday, June 21st was Father's Day and poor Jammer had to work. I spent a good portion of the day fixing our fridge as it was not working to its full capacity. Thankfully after a little info and help from my friend Tyler I was able to get it working after a few hours of defrosting and ice picking. Now we have a freezer that freezes and a fridge that keeps things cold. YAY! That was the most of my day. Tre woke up late this morning so his day was pushed back a bunch, poor kid was TIRED from all that happened the day before. We just hung out in the house all day, Tre kept himself busy playing in his play area, we played with bubbles on the patio which Tre was getting mad about because he couldn't catch them and then we played "knocking down the towers" in my bedroom. Here is a video of Tre playing with bubbles on the patio...or should I say getting frustrated with not being able to catch the bubbles..
Here are some pictures of our freezer...
This is the freezer after the backing was taken off...check out that ice block...
This is a closer up look of how thick the ice was...
And this is a picture of what it looked like when I was done...YAY for ME!
Here is a video of Tre and I playing our "Tower Game" in my bedroom...
Here is a video of Tre playing in his play area like a good little independent boy...notice his booty shake while standing up on the Leapfrog toy..so cute...
Here is a video of Tre from today after he found the doggy door...
I forgot to post this video in last week's post, this is Jammer and Tre hanging out on the patio...
And last thing, on Wednesday night after my post last week I had to groom Noa...he was in major need of a bath and I haven't been able to find the time to take him to the groomers...
Here is a picture of my not so happy furry child after his bath...I did notice one thing, it's not a good idea to give such a furry dog a bath in the evening hours, poor little guy ended up shivering until I could get his undercoat somewhat dry which took FOREVER...
