We have a park up the street from our house that we like to take Tre to. It has a great rubbery ground in the play area so we took Tre and his push toy airplane there to practice his pushing/walking skills. He was loving it and cruising ALL over the place. I left our video camera at home so I ended up using Jammer's cellphone to video Tre walking around, turned out pretty good considering it's a cellphone but too bad when you make it larger it's a bit grainy. Oh well, at least we can see it this way.

Tre says Papa
Tre was working on saying Papa the last time my family all got together but last weekend when we stayed at my parent's house so he saw a lot of my Mom and Dad and decided it was time to shout out to my Dad, PAPA! My Dad is a busy bee and always on the go. He was out working in the yard while I was feeding Tre his lunch on Saturday the 25th of July. Tre kept watching my Dad walk past the window and finally shouted out "Papa"! He would do it every so often when he would see my Dad. Finally my Dad came in from working in the yard and came into the kitchen where we were hanging out and Tre said it again. It is a regular word that comes out of Tre's mouth now. So much that I got it on video on Tuesday, July 28th during Tre's breakfast. It happened to be the same day that my Mom was coming down to hang out so it was funny when my Mom got there, Tre was saying "Papa" to her as well. Unfortunately for her, Grandma is a bit harder to say than Papa but Tre is getting better at saying "Grandma" as well. It's only clear if you are really paying attention though. Hehe.
The amount of words that come out of his mouth shocks me sometimes. He says tons of things that I really need to start writing them down to keep up, but as of lately he is saying:
Yes (ALL the time), No (very rarely), More, Duck, Car, Dog, Cat, Ball (he says this for lots of things that are round), Balloon (sounds like ball), Book, "I'm gonna get you" or just the words "get you", Noa, Bath, Mama, Mom, Dada, Daddy, Hi, Cracker, snack, milk (he's said this only a couple times), all done or done, Tre (he's working on this one, it's not quite clear yet), hmmm...there are some others but I can't think right now. I'll post em up as soon as I remember.
A few random words have been said maybe once or twice, dangit (whoops, he slipped in his friend's baby pool and when I grabbed him I said "dangit" then he said it, he has only said it once since then), yucky (he's said that twice) and of course, I'm drawing a blank on the rest.
Now here is the video...

Parks and Birthdays and Weddings
We had a couple birthday parties this week, a few park visits and two weddings this past week. It was a busy week of fun times! We went to the park on Monday, July 20th to meet up with Tre's play group. We hung out at the park for a little while before anyone showed up. I was beginning to wonder if anyone would show up and then my friend Sarah and her daughter Elizabeth showed up and a couple other people from the play group and lastly my friend Rachel and her daughter Ava arrived. It turned out to be a nice time at the park. We just hung out and the kids played with and around each other. Now for a picture of the handsome Noa after he got groomed...
I totally forgot to load this on this blog post...here is a video of Tre walking from person to person at my sister's house...

Tre and Friends
We haven't received more than this one yet, but Roon with You Picture Me Photography posted up one picture of each kid on Wednesday, July 15th from the Rock'n Sprouts Mini Photo Session last Saturday, July 11th. Quite a few of these adorable little munchkins are in Tre's play group. What a cute bunch!http://youpictureme.wordpress.com/2009/07/15/rockn-sprouts-july-mini-sessions-preview/

First Steps - Fun at the Beach
Tre took his first steps today (July 15th)!! The first steps without holding anyone's hand. Jammer and I sat in the hallway just a few feet away from each other and had Tre walking back and forth to us. We got him to do it so many times and I realized, what the heck am I doing? I need to get this on video. So I had Jammer distract Tre (Tre was on a roll and wondered why I was getting up), I grabbed the camera and tried to discreetly hide the camera so Tre wouldn't see it (which is why it isn't the greatest angle, but at least you get the idea). He walked back and forth to us! Woo-Hoo! It's definitely easier to get Tre to do this when there is another person to go to rather than me setting him up somewhere and having him walk to me as I have tried a few times before this. Hope you enjoy the video....
And here is a video from yesterday (Tuesday, July 14th of Tre playing with one of his toys he got for his birthday):
And another video of Tre and Noa playing "tug of war":

1 Year Check Up
Other than that he got a couple shots and had to get a tuberculosis test which has to be checked by us 48 hours after it was given. He was a brave boy for the TB test but really hates being laid down like on a changing table so he cried a bit when we had to lay him down for the other 2 shots. Plus he was running on some serious borrowed time. His appointment was at 10:45am so we had to keep him awake instead of putting him down for his nap, so that was really tough on him. Poor little guy was falling asleep as soon as we set him in his car seat (which by the way, he is really loving his new car seat). For the first time we were able to carry him out of the car, up to the house and then put him in bed without him jolting up at the sight of light and even seeing his Auntie Ashley when we walked in the house. He was THAT tired. Poor kid!
We were lucky enough to have Jammer's brother Justin and sister Malia in town to help us occupy Tre before his appointment. They were staying at the La Costa Resort & Spa so we met them there for breakfast and we hung out until it was time to go to Tre's appointment. Justin walked Tre around the pool area (which Tre loved), even though he wanted to get in the water and couldn't. Hehe.Jammer had to work that afternoon so he left while Tre was napping. Once Tre woke up from his long nap him and I hung out and played with his new toys and stuff. Since his nap was extended a little longer than normal he didn't end up taking an afternoon nap, so it was a long afternoon to evening.

Tre's Family Bday Party
Tre did some swimming, some playing, assisted walking around, eating some birthday cake and opening some birthday presents. I was kept pretty busy throughout the party up until food was served, then I think I finally was able to relax. But all in all, it was a fun day! I was happy to be able to take a picture of everyone that showed up, my goal was to get everyone on their way out, so just after they said bye, I took a picture of them.
For starters, here is a video of us all singing Happy Birthday to Tre and presenting him with his cake...
Here is a link to ALL the pics I took from his birthday party:

Photo Session with Roon
We took a little video of Tre while Roon was taking pictures of him....
We ended up taking a few family photos of all 3 of us as well before Tre was done with the photos. With the 3 times Roon has photographed Tre it's been a good experience. He almost always smiles for her or makes some cute little face expression. We CANNOT wait to see what she comes up with. She will be posting one of the many that she took on Wednesday, so I'll probably be posting another post then to show that picture and then 2 weeks from now she'll be sending us a link to the final images that we can look at and choose from. FUN FUN!

Tre is 1 Year Old
The day has finally come and I wish I could press rewind a little! I love my developing little boy but of course the little snuggly baby was great too. However, I think all the new things Tre is learning is so cool to watch. He is on the verge of walking, could be any day now. He still likes to hold our fingers but getting braver each day. Here is the video at Buca di Beppo when they sang Happy Birthday...
Plus now I have been a Mommy for a WHOLE YEAR! Happy "Giving Birth" day to me as well...hehe...since I was the one giving birth!
Here are the pictures I took from Tre's 1st Birthday...

Week 52 Videos
There were a some videos that didn't make the week 52 post so I thought I would post them here as a separate post for anyone that wants to check them out.
This video took place on 4th of July...Jammer took Tre swimming when he got off work...
We have this video that Tre LOVES, it's the only thing that would settle him down in Hawaii to eat his meals (since we didn't have a highchair), he has been paying close attention when the video recites the alphabet and has began shouting out things back to the video, at times even a letter that matches up with what he sees...
Here is Tre having fun playing with Noa...he likes to tease him with his food and chase him around...
So that special video that Tre LOVES has this song at the end that I think is so sweet and sometimes I get a little choked up (usually when I think about the words and just how lucky I feel to be Tre's Mom), Tre was so intently watching the video that I thought I would video him and know that as Tre gets older I'll be able to look at this video and remember (and probably cry like a baby, haha)...
Well, those are the videos from Week 52...hope you enjoyed them...

Happy 52 Week Birthday Tre
The last week before Tre turns 1 year old!!! Amazing how this year has flown...
So this post starts out with the 4th of July weekend...
Friday, July 3rd Jammer had the day off, thank goodness because we were pretty exhausted from our travels and Tre was totally random on his schedule. Tre woke up at 9:20am which was really 6:20am in Hawaii so he was still on Hawaii time. We decided that due to his late wake up and the fact that we wanted him to get back on Cali time we decided to give him one nap for the day to put him to bed earlier than we would if we went by Hawaii time. Our day was pretty much hang with Tre in the morning and then he went down for a nap for 2 1/2 hours. Jammer went surfing and then when he got home we packed up some stuff and went over to Jazz in the Park, however by the time we got there it was SOOO...packed and there was no parking that we decided by the time we found parking, got ourselves down to a spot that we could hang out at then it would be time to go home to put Tre to bed. So we drove home and had a picnic on the grass at our complex where we ate our dinner (Tre LOVES to eat whatever his daddy is eating so of course he was expecting Jammer to share with him as the pic shows) and then took Tre up to the house to get him ready for bed.
Saturday, July 4th was 4th of July. Jammer had to work so after Tre's morning nap (which was another long one) we went up to Oceanside to our friend, Huy's house and met up with my friend Tiff and some other people. There was a little girl there that was 2, Tre and her were interacting a bit. She was being really sweet with him and she was trying to play with her as best he could. She had dug a little hole in the sand and Tre wanted to sit in it with her and then she was showing him how to use a shovel, etc. It was cute. Then I walked Tre around a bit and dipped his feet in the water (which coming so recently from Hawaii was quite cold for me). We left Oceanside to come back home and Tre fell asleep in the car. When we got home Jammer was home from work so we decided to take Tre swimming and then go over to our friend's Will & Kate's house for their 4th of July BBQ.
Sunday, July 5th Tre and I just hung out around the house mostly. Tre took a LONG morning nap and then we went for a walk around the neighborhood and to get frozen yogurt. Then Jammer got home from work after Tre was ready for bed, so they played for a bit and then Tre went to bed.
Monday, July 6th we had plans to go to a pool playdate. We had a great time at the pool, it was nice and warm outside as well as the water was a great temperature. We stayed there for a couple hours and then came home for Tre's nap. Tre and I hung out at the house (of course Tre was practicing his walking, like he does at every chance he can get to walk while holding my fingers) and lately Cyrus has been all about hanging with Tre, I don't know why, every time Tre sees him he attempts to swat at him but Cyrus seems to like it. While Tre was playing in his play area, Cyrus was sitting next to him. Jammer got off work and we went to Costco to pick up some things for Tre's bday events.
Tuesday, July 7th we had to run errands in preparation for Tre's bday parties. Tre only ended up taking 1 nap because he took such a long morning nap that I wanted him to go to bed a decent time so I figured if he took an afternoon nap we could have a munchkin awake for a very long time. We got home and did the nighttime routine. Jammer had to work the late shift so it was just Tre and I.
Wednesday, July 8th, the day before Tre's 1st birthday!!! I had a lot of preparation to do for Tre's play group party. My neighbor Rachel and her daughter Sayla were so sweet, when I was bringing stuff down to the pool area to put together for Tre's bday they offered to watch Tre for me so I could get stuff done without worrying about Tre as well. It was a lifesaver!! Then after Tre's afternoon nap we hung out at the house and then walked around the neighborhood a little bit before Jammer got home from work. Then we did our nighttime routine and Jammer put Tre to bed while I did some more party prep. It was a late night, decorating, frosting cupcakes (which Jammer was an awesome help and frosted them for me) and putting together the last things before the bday party. I actually ended up staying awake SUPER late and was awake for Tre's actual birth which is 12:37am. Can't believe this time last year I was having a baby!!!! Quick mention, it was really hard to take his weekly pic (good thing it's the last one) so I had to give him something to look at otherwise I would either have a blurry pic, a crawling pic or a very upset pic. Hehe.
Lastly, for a final count before Tre turns 1 year old on his teeth...he has ALL of his baby teeth (minus the 2nd molars which I have been told don't come in until they are around 2 years old, but we'll see with this early teether), that makes it a grand total of 16 teeth before 1 year old. WOW. I have posted a picture here so you can see all of the teeth he has (teeth he has are highlighted in blue).

Happy 51 Week Birthday Tre in Hawaii
This post is all about things we did while in Hawaii...except for the fact that Tre has gotten another tooth, I actually thought I felt something on Sunday but it didn't pop out until the other day. So now he has 15 teeth (it was his top right canine tooth) and his left canine tooth area looks swollen like he is going to cut that tooth any day now. After that he will only be getting 4 more molars and he will have ALL of his baby teeth. Crazy, huh?
So Wednesday, June 24th was a busy LONG day, we went to bed pretty late the night before since it took us till around midnight to get up to LA. We didn't end up leaving our house until after 9pm, then we had to pick up my sis in OC and then up to LA. Tre didn't get to sleep until 9:45pm (SO LATE) and slept the whole way up and then was over it when we got to Jammer's parent's house and cried until I put him to bed in his pack'n play. Tre woke up around 6:15am and we had to hope for him to take his morning nap in the car so we could get to the airport, which he did and then woke up when we got to the airport. Our flight was at 11:30am and Tre hung out until about 1pm and then took a nap on Jammer's chest for 2 1/2 hours so that was AWESOME. Then when he woke up we had a little over an hour before we landed. He didn't fuss barely at all. Tutu & Papa Johnny (Jammer's grandparents) picked us up and we went to their house. After we got our stuff in the house we got our suits on and went over to Sandy Beach for some sun, then we went to dinner at the Outrigger Canoe Club. Tre was SO over it at this point, he barely ate his dinner and was super tired. We got him home and in bed as soon as possible, poor little guy.
Thursday, June 25th Tre woke up at 4:45am (Hawaii time) and didn't want to go back to sleep. He took a 2 hour nap while we got ourselves packed and ready to head over to Kauai. Our flight was at 11:34am (all times within this post will reference Hawaii time, unless otherwise stated) and we arrived in Kauai at 12:15pm, we picked up our rental car, stopped at Walmart to pick up some things and then went over to Princeville to check in to our condo. Our condo was located in Pali Ke Kua. It had an amazing view of the ocean. We walked in to our condo and our jaws dropped because we were so stoked on it. That night we went to our friend's Adam & Malia's house for a pre-wedding get together. Tre still wasn't really adjusted to the time change so he was really tired and we hung out for a bit to say hi to everyone and then had to get Tre home for bed.
Friday, June 26th we hung out at the condo until after Tre's long morning nap. We got packed up and headed out to the south side of the island to meet up with some friends. By the time we got there a long time had passed and most of the guys had already surfed so we hung out for a bit, but the beach wasn't too baby friendly so I had to hold Tre most of the time. The ocean was a bit too heavy for him and the sand had junk in it so a little while later we went back to our condo. Long drive! Tre napped in the car on the way home after a long fight to sleep. When we got back to the house we cleaned up and just hung out until Tre went to bed. We were exhausted and decided to go to bed shortly after that.
Saturday, June 27th was the day of our friend's Adam & Malia's wedding. After Tre's morning nap we went down to the beach a short walk from our condo and Tre got in the water. Then we had to get back to the house for Tre's nap and to get ready for Adam & Malia's wedding ceremony. We took a different route home from the beach which took us up this CRAZY walkway, it was so steep at some points I was freaking out and so happy I was not the one carrying Tre during this part. It did however get us past this amazing view that we took a picture at (even though I was having fears of falling off th edge while posing for the picture, since Tre's hat had almost blown off). While Tre napped Ashley hung out at the condo and we went to the ceremony. It was beautiful, it was set up in this beautiful private area that had a waterfall and tons of beautiful flowers. Malia looked BEAUTIFUL and the ceremony was so special. Malia has a son named Cole that was included completely in the ceremony as a part of their union so he stood in the circle with them. It was really cute! Then after the ceremony we went home to get changed for the reception. The reception was at the Hanalei Canoe Club. We got to the canoe club and shortly later Adam & Malia arrived in a canoe. I had to leave the reception after dinner to go home and feed Tre really quick. Then got back to the reception and had a great time with our friends.
Here is Tre going into the ocean in Hawaii for the first time...
Sunday, June 28th we went to Bubba's Burgers for lunch and then went to "Secrets" beach and met up with our friends. Our friend's son Connor was there and Tre and Connor played with Connor's sand toys for a bit. We tried to get Tre to take his afternoon nap at the beach but he wasn't having it at all. He just isn't a random location napper. So we left the beach and went back to the condo. While Tre napped I went to the store to get stuff for dinner. That night we had hoped to get over to our friend's house and hang out but our energy level was so low we couldn't rally ourselves to get out the door.
Monday, June 29th we had our last morning at the condo. Such a bummer! After Tre's morning nap we got packed up and left the condo and went over to our friend Mike's house to say bye to everyone before our flight. We then dropped off the rental car and then got to the airport and jumped on our plane to head back to Oahu. When we got back to Oahu it was time for Tre to take a nap. So while Tre was napping, Jammer and I went to buy some new luggage since ours was totally busted (zippers weren't zipping very well anymore or staying zipped). We got some luggage and went back to Tutu's house. We decided to have dinner at Tutu's house to make it an easy night for Tre. So before dinner we went in the jacuzzi which was a perfect temperature for Tre to go in.
Tuesday, June 30th we went to the Outrigger Canoe Club after Tre's morning nap so Tre could play at the beach and go in the water without the worry of some heavy waves, the Outrigger has it's own private beach area for members to hang out at. It was so much fun we all floated in the water together and Tre was having so much fun in the ocean. After a while at the beach we had to go home for Tre's nap. Jammer went surfing and Ashley and I hung out at the house. Then Tre woke up from his nap and we got ready to go out to dinner. Before going out to dinner Tre was taking Ashley and Tutu for walks around the house, he would guide them around, back and forth. Even let go of one hand a few times and walked just holding one hand. We went to the Outrigger again because the food is SO good and we love the location. Tre was pretty tired but we got some cute pics of us and then we went home and got Tre in bed.
Here is a video of Tre and Jammer playing in the ocean at the Outrigger Canoe Club:
Wednesday, July 1st we went back to the Outrigger to play at the beach and had another fun time in the ocean. The waves were a bit bigger so Ashley and I couldn't hold Tre in the water because sometimes we would lose our footing so Jammer held him in the ocean while we all floated along. We then brought Tre home for his nap. Then Tutu and I went to the bakery to pick up Tre's birthday cake for his little birthday celebration. We got back and got ready for dinner. Jammer and I were worried about Tre because he was SUPER hot so I went to Longs to pick up some Tylenol infant drops for him to help him with his fever. He was having a tough time staying awake so we had to hurry dinner and then sang him Happy Birthday and then we let Tre try the cake and then it was time for him to go to bed.
Tre's Haupia Birthday Cake...

And a video of us all singing "Happy Birthday" to Tre...
Thursday, July 2nd was the day of our departure. We did our morning routine and then put Tre down for his nap and got ourselves packed up and ready to go home. After Tre woke up it was time to get the car packed so we could head to the airport. Our flight was scheduled for 12:27pm but it didn't end up taking off until around 1:20pm because of some door issue and then they needed to remove 2 flight attendants for overtime due to the delay. This flight was a little bit more difficult because Tre still wasn't feeling well, he was still warm and so I think he had a hard time getting comfortable. He napped for an hour when the plane took off and then took a mini 15 minute nap about 45 minutes before the plane landed.
Here is Tre's weekly pic. Taken the day after we got home...so a little over a week between this week's pic and last week's pic. I am so glad that the weekly picture thing is coming to an end because this little guy is DIFFICULT to get seated in that spot for longer than a second and he gets mad if he moves away and I put him back there...

Throughout the trip Tre was teething with his final canine tooth, he now has 16 teeth with only his 2nd molars left of his emerging baby teeth. Before a year old he has all but 4 of his baby teeth, is that amazing or what? Also, by the end of the trip Tre ended up saying "Ash". My sister Ashley was trying to get him to say "Ashy" but he settled for Ash and would say it when looking for her. He would wake up from a nap and I would say, "Where's Auntie Ashy" and he would say "Ash" and we would begin the search for his Auntie. She was very happy after all the time spent with him this past week that he finally said it. Hehe.
I posted all the pics from Hawaii on my Facebook site, so you can see the images there if you want take a look at more pics from our vacation by clicking on this link...
