Our friend Suzanna posted a cute video on her Facebook from Jazz in the Park, I thought I would link to it so you could check it out as well...

Saturday, August 22nd we took Tre to a Rock'n Sprouts in the morning to get a picture taken. Then after that we took Tre home for a much needed nap. After his nap and when Jammer got home from surfing we got ourselves put together so we could head down to Ocean Beach to meet up with some of our friends. While Jammer surfed (again, hehe) Tre and I went on the hunt for food because we were both VERY hungry. When we finally got back to the beach Jammer was done surfing and we got packed up and went over to our friends' The Perry's house. Now that Tre is walking I think him and Connor (The Perry's son) have much more they can do with each other. Better interaction and able to just play near each other better. They were much more interactive with each other and giving each other hugs and everything. So sweet! After hanging out there for a bit we went to eat dinner with everyone. Tre and Connor sat next to each other at dinner and snacked on foods together and even fed each other. Tre was super tired by the time we got in the car so he fell asleep before we got home.
Sunday, August 23rd we had plans to go up to my sister, Jennifer's house for a family BBQ with my Mom's, Mom's side of the family (did that make sense?). This was the first time my Grandma & Grandpa Aranda had met Tre so that was important in itself to be there! It's amazing that 4 weeks prior we were at my sister's house and Tre was just walking from person to person and this time he was running around the entire house just cruising on his own. So cool! I have to say, some people warned me that when Tre started walking it was going to be very difficult and to not push it, but honestly, I love that he can walk! I don't have to carry him all the time and he is much more independent (as long as he isn't getting into mischief which I'm sure will happen plenty of times now). He is happier because he can get to where he wants to go when he wants. So for family gatherings, hanging in the house and places that are safe for him to wander around at, it is a great thing that he can walk. My back isn't hunched over helping him walk anymore (which was KILLING me) and I only have to pick him up if he wants me to or I need to remove him from a situation or place he shouldn't be. Anyways, we had a great time at the BBQ and Tre is getting much more active in what is going on with the family. He even is taking on my Dad in a yelling match. I think he can keep up pretty well! I took video of Tre and my Dad yelling at each other saying "I GOT YOU". Such a crack up!
