5th Ultrasound

We had another ultrasound. 4 weeks after my last appointment. This one was to check a cyst that they had found on baby's brain in the last ultrasound. Of course, I didn't mention it really to anyone (other than Jammer) because I just didn't want to worry about it and figured the less talking I did about it, the less likely I was to carry it around in my universe. :) Trying some of that "Secret" style methods. Hehe.

Anyways, now that I have mentioned it, it's because everything turned out all good. Just as I had suspected, the cyst was no longer there and our doctor says that it happens here and there that you see something on the ultrasound but then it just goes away as development continues. So all is well!

Jammer was able to come with me to this appointment since my Mom stayed at our house to watch the monitor while Tre slept (which by the way, he slept the ENTIRE time we were gone) so he was very happy to be there and we got to see our little baby in 4D moving around. It was so cool. As always, the pictures are never as good as the real deal of looking at him on the screen but we were given a couple pics in 3D. I'm not a big fan of the way the 3D pics look because it's just so weird looking. But it's all we got to take home this time. After finding out the ultrasound showed no signs of anything to worry about we were relieved and was able to relax and enjoy the experience. Not so fun waiting for our doctor though. Before I saw my doctor they weighed me and I didn't gain any weight. I had to explain to them that I had the stomach flu the week before and that pretty much summed up why I hadn't gained any weight. Let's hope that things progress better the following month.

Funny thing and it was almost as if I could sense it before it was mentioned, but my doctor is AGAIN pregnant at the same time as me! Can you believe it?? Lucky for me this time though she is not due until October 17th so she said she should absolutely be there for me for delivery this time! She was mentioning how hard it was having to tell her patients that are due after she is that she won't be able to be there for their delivery and I reminded her that I was one of those people she had to tell that to last time and she was happy that she wasn't having to tell me that again. Ha! Last time around my doc decided not to find out what they were having but this time they did, she is having a boy and last time she had a girl.

So here are the two pics that we got this time around....just by looking at baby pics of Tre and from the actual ultrasound we are thinking we are going to be giving birth to another little Tre...should be interesting to see what he looks like in comparison...
