Photo Shoot Update

As posted on June 16th, Tre and I had a free photo shoot with some of our friends with this photographer named Alicia Rios.

Alicia was so sweet and rushed the photos of us and had them edited before Father's Day!! I was amazed/impressed with the turnaround time and have been meaning to post the pics that we got from the shoot. HUGE Kudos to Alicia for the quick editing!!

Hope you enjoy...

We'll start with my absolute fav...Tre giving me a big kiss and the added bonus of baby Makoa in my belly...

We've Moved

Monday, June 21st we rented a U-haul and hired some movers to come help with the big stuff. Jammer went to get the U-haul, had to pick it up at 8am. Tre had decided he was going to sleep in this morning, which is understandable since he didn't have a very good night's sleep on Saturday night. So I had to wait for Jammer to get back before I could take Noa to the groomers. Then I dropped Noa off at the groomers, came back to the condo and picked up Tre and dropped him off at my friend Sarah's house. She offered to watch him while we did some major moving, so he got to play with his friend Elizabeth. The time flew and already it was time for me to go pick up Tre and bring him home for nap so my Mom and I went to pick him up. I was picking up pizza for lunch and it ended up taking longer than expected so my Mom took the car and Tre home so he could go down for his nap, I ended up walking home after I finally got the pizzas. So funny, Tre's room was nothing but a crib and curtains so when my Mom brought him home Jammer took him into the room with the lights off and laid him down so he wouldn't get distracted by what was missing. Smart idea!

I brought home the pizza and we ate lunch. Then it was back to packing and moving more. But we had to be a bit more quiet since Tre was sleeping so we got as much out of the house as possible and then Jammer, his Dad and his friend Cameron took that load to the new house while my Mom and I stayed and did more packing. Then around 2:45ish I went and picked up Noa from the groomers and got home just before Tre woke up. Once Tre woke up I got him ready to go over to my other friend Sarah's house so Tre could play with his friend Ella while we did some more packing. The house just wasn't a place for Tre to be hanging out at. I dropped Tre off and then came back to the condo for more fun packing. Of course time flew again and it was time to pick Tre up. So my Mom and I went to pick Tre up and then picked up dinner on the way home.

It was a long, exhausting day but all going to be worth it to have a yard for Tre to play in as well as an attached garage. Those 2 things alone make it worth moving!

We are far from done, the condo still has a bunch of things that need to be brought over. I usually only have small windows of time to get stuff done, especially if I have to bring Tre with me to the condo, he isn't very understanding to my needing to get stuff done, who can blame him though, it's boring there for a kiddo. But for now things are coming together at the new house and Tre is LOVING his yard! Just to see the expression on his face when he realizes he can bring his ball and toys outside and play with them is satisfaction in itself!!

Here are some pics of the new house...

New Puppy?

So during our big moving day I decided to get Noa out of the way by taking him to the groomers. I dropped him off in the morning and then around 3pm I picked him up. I paid for the grooming and the girl brought out this dog that kind of looked like Noa but had hardly any hair!

I kind of stood there waiting for them to bring out another dog when I realized OMIGOSH, that's Noa. I put out the bag for this pup to jump into and immediately he jumped into the bag and I knew it was my little Noa.

I couldn't help but start crying. I know, pregnancy hormones are crazy, but I LOVED Noa's fluffy hair and when I saw that they had cut it all off I was devastated. I guess the hair cut that I had requested was not the right name for what I wanted. This was the first time I had this groomers in Encinitas cut Noa's hair. I've had another groomer called Furry Friends in Orange County cut Noa's hair in the past and did an awesome job and made me feel better about giving Noa hair cuts since I love his hair so much.

When Jammer got back to the condo after moving stuff to the new house, as he was walking up the stairs I told him, look we got a new puppy!! Noa came running to the door and Jammer was like, what? He then realized it was Noa and said, what happened to him? After looking at him for a little while the cut has grown on us, it is going to take some getting used to. I think Noa kind of likes it though, he is running around a bit more and has a bit more pep. I'm not sure I'll ever cut his hair this short again but it's something to remember and therefore blog about.

Here is another pic of Noa now and then close it out with the original Noa and all his beautiful hair that will hopefully come back very soon....

Baby #2 Name

We have finally come to a decision on the name of our 2nd little boy. We decided a couple weeks ago but we weren't ready to announce the name until we told the person the name is derived from. That person would be my Dad! I was so happy to be able to come up with something that both Jammer and I liked that would be able to honor my Dad in some way.

The name of our 2nd boy will be....
Donovan Makoa Anderson

My Dad's name is Don and therefore we went with Donovan to take a piece of my Dad and put it in our son's name. Makoa means courage in Hawaiian and that has had special meaning to us since we were trying to get pregnant with Tre.

My Dad is a huge influence on who I am and I am so grateful for him and all he has done for me and my family. He is an amazing person and I look forward to telling my little boy that he has been blessed with a piece of my Dad in his name.

We will be referring to him as Makoa or Koa for short.

Our Free Photo Shoot

A while back I was contacted by a local photographer named Alicia Rios about doing a free photo shoot for me and some of my mom friends and their kiddos. We finally were able to schedule a time and get the shoot done this morning. We were shooting the pictures at Grandview beach in Leucadia. I love that beach and liked that Tre can't escape into a parking lot or something, just beach and ocean.

We got there just after 9am and planned to be there till 11am. There were 6 Moms including me all with 1 child each. So 12 of us. I figured since some of the kids love the water that it'd be best to get some up close and "dry" photos of them first so while the kids played at the beach Alicia took a Mom and her child off to get some shots of just them and we did that with each of the Moms & their kids until we all had some shots of just us and our kiddos. After that it was candid shots of the kids just having fun and doing whatever they wanted to do at the beach. We even got a group photo that I am looking forward to seeing with us all holding our kids.

All in all it was a fun morning at the beach and Tre was tuckered out when we got home and went down for a nice 2 hour and 45 minute nap.

Thank goodness he took a good nap because Jammer ended up having to work the ENTIRE day from open to close because the closing manager called out sick. He left here at like 7:30am and didn't get home until 10pm. LONG day for him AND me. Thankfully Tre wasn't too much of a handful, I think the big morning at the beach really helped him stay somewhat sane for the rest of the day. He did ask where Daddy was a few times and I just calmly said, At Work and he accepted the answer and moved on. He'll be excited to see Daddy in the morning since him and Jammer are going to be hanging out while I go to a doctor's appointment. Of course at bath time I had an interesting experience where Tre decided that he had to go potty and went in the bathtub, yep both 1 & 2! Fun clean up for me!

While Tre was napping I did a bunch of packing. Packed up stuff from some drawers and stuff from the closets that all could be put in trash bags. I also FINALLY got Tre's birthday invitations done and dropped them in the mail tonight. I can't believe that I was so behind on getting them out. I wanted them out where people got them at least a month before the party, but life just doesn't work out exactly the way you plan sometimes. I guess I didn't expect to be moving so quickly AND to have to devote SO much time to finding someone to rent our condo.

Side note regarding the condo, just when we thought we had it all figured out and had decided on the person we were going to have move in, it all falls through. I emailed her letting her know the plan and got an email this morning that said that she decided on a different place, which FLOORED me because I just spoke to her yesterday and she was still interested. We had talked to clear up a few things and I told her all I needed to do was confirm with my husband and I'd call her back. Well, I guess from yesterday afternoon to this morning something changed and it wasn't to move here. Oh well, maybe it's for the best and that's why it happened. Everything happens for a reason, right? We did get another applicant yesterday but they can't move in until the 15th so we were hoping for something sooner. We'll see how things go. On to reviewing more credit reports and all that fun stuff!

So we made it through the day and now I am truly exhausted and need to get some rest. I was on my feet for way too long today, not to mention those torturous stairs at Grandview beach, I thought I was going to faint at the top of the stairs. Serious workout carrying a 27 pound kid up those stairs being 28 1/2 weeks pregnant!

I wish I had some pictures to share from today, but the only one I took was with my cellphone (shown at the top of this post). I didn't bring my camera since we were having pics taken even though I kind of wished I did so I could have a few pics now of what was going on. Guess we'll have to wait!

Last Day of Preschool Class

Thursday, June 10th was Tre's LAST day of our mommy & me preschool class for the spring semester. We decided to not do preschool during the summer. With all that is going to be going on it'll be good to take a break. However we are considering signing Tre up for swim classes, so we'll see. It was a gloomy morning but Tre was excited to go to school. I mention it and even before he has his socks and shoes on, he is running towards the door. So cute that he loves it so much! Class flew by and before we knew it the class was over. Tre had a bit of a meltdown while in class. The craft was to paint with golf balls and of course Tre thought that was awesome! However, when he was done rolling the golf balls around his painting in the box he was ready to take the golf balls that were covered in paint out of the box and kick them around on the floor. Needless to say when I asked him to stop and attempted to move the balls he lost it. Full on tantrum! I had to sit him in a corner to just let him have his moment. The teacher brought out some clean golf balls and placed them near where Tre was, so after he was done with his fit he realized they were there, calmed down and I told him if he was calm he could play with them. It's funny, I'll ask him, Are you going to be a good boy? And he sniffles...Yes! He was focused on those balls for the remainder of the class, all the other kids were outside playing and he didn't want to do anything but play with the golf balls. Finally as everyone was getting ready to leave he realized the door was open to outside and went out to check things out. About 15 minutes after class was over we left the classroom. I had to do some trickery to get the golf balls out of his hands, taking him to the car, giving him a snack and then removing the golf balls from his hands so he could eat. I ran the golf balls back to the teacher and we went to Costco to pick up some things and then home for nap. He was a tired little man and fell asleep in about 5 minutes or so after convincing him it was time for nap.

After nap we had to hang out at the house because I had a potential renter come to look at the place at 4pm. After she left our neighbor Kate brought over her son Liam to play with Tre. They played with the train table and other stuff. Then Jammer got home from work, Kate & Liam went home for dinner and we got ourselves situated for dinner. I had plans to go to dinner at a friends house so around 7:15pm I left the boys to finalize the nighttime routine together.

It was a great night of great conversation and great food. I am so grateful to have met some awesome women through my play group. It has truly made my life so much more fulfilling to have them in my life. We are all pretty closely in the same place with our kiddos and our kids all get along so well, the added bonus of them all being so cool and great to be around! And not to mention the fact that they all are so inviting when it comes to doing things with our kids or just us girls! Love it!!!

Tre is 23 Months Old

Monday, May 10th Jammer worked the late shift so him, Tre and I hung at the house for the morning, then Jammer went to put Tre down for his nap and for some reason Tre was not falling asleep as quickly as he normally does. He was singing, hanging out and not really making a fuss but about an hour after Jammer had laid him down Tre was standing up saying NO NO NO and was not planning on napping. Come to find out he had a poopie diaper and at that point I knew there was no nap that was going to take place. So it was a LOOONG day. I decided to take him to the park for a little bit and then we came back home and I got him in bed a little earlier than normal. He fell asleep pretty quickly but about an hour after he had fallen asleep he woke up and threw up twice. Unfortunately, Jammer wasn't home from work yet so it was a juggling act trying to get Tre cleaned up, set him down somewhere that he wouldn't cry for being put down and then change his bedding. Poor kid.

Tuesday, May 11th I decided to keep it mellow for Tre the entire day, just in case. Jammer worked the late shift again so we all just hung at the house in the morning and then Tre took a 2 1/2 hour nap and woke up and we hung out for the rest of the day at the house. I was feeling a little yucky as well so it was probably a good idea for both of us to stay home. Tre's appetite started to come back a little in the afternoon and he actually asked me for food and said he was hungry so that was a good sign.

Wednesday, May 12th Tre was doing very well, he made it through the night with no problems. Jammer had the day off so we did our morning routine and then while Tre napped Jammer went surfing. I decided to take a nap just to make sure I stayed healthy, figured a little extra sleep would be a good idea. When Jammer got home from surfing Tre was just waking up and we hung out. I went to Jamba Juice to pick up smoothies and stopped at the grocery store for some things while the boys stayed at the house. Then we went over to our friends/neighbor's house so Tre could play with their son Liam and check out his train table. Tre was in heaven of course! We hung out there until it was time to get home for bedtime routine.

Thursday, May 13th we had an appointment to check out a preschool for Tre that morning at 10am. We really liked the school we went to and Tre was very comfortable and roamed around very happily. I got a little misty eyed while there towards the end, Tre was able to play with the kids and he was so happy and free-spirited. They were playing at the bubble table and he was running around the other kids yelling "bubbles" and just enjoying himself. I love how he can acclimate to a situation so easily! We left the preschool and headed home, both Jammer and I were starting to feel pretty yucky and had a bad feeling we may have caught whatever it was that Tre had. So Jammer called out sick and while Tre napped we both napped as well. When Tre woke up we were both not motivated at all to go and do anything. However I did feel inspired to buy Tre a train table because I had a feeling we would be in the house for the next few days and it was motivation enough to make the decision to buy it. I found one on craigslist and decided to go take a look and most likely pick it up. And yep, I came home with a train table for our little man. We decided to wait until the morning to show it to him to ensure he would go to bed. So we set it all up after he went to bed in preparation for the surprise in the morning.

Friday, May 14th Tre woke up and I surprised him with his new train table. I think he was a little confused at first, like, is this really mine? He played with it off and on throughout the morning and thankfully when it was time for nap he didn't fight it. Jammer ended up calling out sick again since he had been throwing up through the night. We napped again while Tre napped and then when he woke up we all hung out in the living room. Tre had his train table to help keep him busy while we were feeling pretty awful laying on the couch. It was really difficult for me to be sick since I am pregnant and it seemed like what little I could eat didn't go to me, but straight to the baby and I was left weak and confused by the fact that I felt hungry but had no desire to eat. We made it through the day and got our kiddo to bed. Then we went straight to bed ourselves. Here is the video I took surprising Tre with his new train table, click here to see it.

Saturday, May 15th was another day of staying home, Jammer still out sick. It was getting pretty unbearable to feel this horrible for a few days now. We did the same thing and hung at the house, tried to eat, tried to rest and tried to keep Tre happy. Jammer's Mom came by after Tre's nap to visit, it had been a while since she had seen Tre. Tre was excited to see her and probably happy to hang with someone other than Mom and Dad for a bit. He showed her his new train table.

Sunday, May 16th was Jammer's scheduled day off and we were still feeling pretty yucky but more mobile and just trying to regain strength at this point. We attempted to eat a real breakfast and that wasn't too bad, but I was pretty full and felt the need to nap again during Tre's nap. Jammer however was determined to get out in the water so he went for a short surf. When he got home and Tre woke up we decided to go over to Jammer's parents beach house to visit his Mom. We attempted to have pizza for dinner and I think that was a bit too much for our tummies because both Jammer and I were hurting after dinner.

Monday, May 17th was a much better day. However, Jammer was still not so strong and was worried about his 1st day back to work since he got sick. He had to close to at least he got to rest in the morning. But he had a rough day at work, his job is very hustle and bustle, which is a hard thing to do when you have hardly eaten anything for 5 days. He made it through. Tre and I hung at the house and then my neighbor had planned on me watching her daughter for a couple hours so her and her husband could go out. I was happy to help since she has always been there for me when I need her to help. Besides the fact that her daughter is so great with Tre and a sweetie to have around. It was a fun evening and Tre was super excited to have Selah there to play with, eat dinner with and watch a little TV with.

Tuesday, May 18th we did our morning routine with Tre (Jammer as well) and then Jammer went to work after Tre went down for his nap. After Tre's nap we went over to my friend Allison's house so Tre and Cole could play. We hung there for a little bit and then went back home and did our nighttime routine.

Wednesday, May 19th was another routine morning and then after Tre's short nap (hour and a half) we went to Costco to get some gas and then met up with my friend Allison and her kids at the San Marcos Farmer's Market. Ate some food, grabbed some yummy produce and walked around. Then came back home and waited for Jammer to get off work (he ended up getting off much later than planned). Here is a cute video of Tre singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, click here to see it.

Thursday, May 20th was a busy day. Tre and I had preschool in the morning, then ran to Costco right after school. I got Tre home for nap and then while he was sleeping I had to get ready and get his smoothie prepared because I had a doctor's appointment and my Mom was going to hang at the house while Tre slept (which he slept the entire time I was gone, until about 5 or so minutes before I got home). I met Jammer at our doctor's office (since he had to work) so we could both be there for the ultrasound which I talked about in a previous blog post here. Then after our doctor's appointment Jammer had to go back to work and I went home. My Mom had just barely gotten Tre out of his crib and was making his smoothie. We had a little lunch and then hung out for a bit until my Mom had to leave to go back home. About 20 minutes later Jammer got home from work and we did a portion of our nighttime routine together but I had a Mom's Night Out planned for the night and had to get ready to go. We went to Beach Grass Cafe in Solana Beach. It was so nice to get out and hang with the other Moms from my awesome play group.

Friday, May 21st Jammer had the day off. We hung out in the morning and then after Tre's nap we had a birthday party for Tre's friend Ella to go to. We hung out there for a bit and Tre had fun running around with Jammer and playing among the other kids. On our way home we stopped at the grocery store for some things for dinner since Jammer's Mom and sister were coming over to visit with Tre and have dinner. I made some yummy ceviche and fish tacos for dinner. It was SO good! Tre had SO much fun playing with his Auntie Malia!! He wanted her with him practically at ALL times. It was really cute. He went to bed a little later than normal and had a bit of a meltdown trying to get him ready for bed, but Jammer got him to bed and we were able to visit with his Mom and sister for a little while before they headed home.

Saturday, May 22nd Tre was pretty grumpy and tired from getting less sleep the night before so we hung out at the house and then he went down for nap a little earlier than normal. We hung out until Jammer got home from work and then they played a bit before dinner and nighttime routine.

Sunday, May 23rd Jammer had the day off and after breakfast we decided to go to Toys 'R Us to pick up a few trains for Tre's train table since the ones that came with it weren't working out so great. We ended up getting him a pack and was able to put a few of them away and bring out a few of them at a time. We also got a really cute Sea Monkeys surfer land. I had to get it, just for nostalgia if nothing more. Plus it had a super cute beach/surfer scene aquarium that I just couldn't pass up! While Tre napped I prepped the aquarium with the water purifier and had to let it sit for 24 hours. I think I was more excited about these things than Tre was since he didn't really understand what they were, but maybe it'll be interesting later on? Tre LOVES aquariums so we'll see. After Tre's nap we hung out then went for a walk to the grocery store and picked up some things for dinner. Then back to the house for dinner and bedtime.

Monday, May 24th Tre and I hung at the house in the morning, then Tre went down for nap and while he was napping I did the 2nd phase of the Sea Monkeys and placed the Sea Monkeys into the aquarium. Now we just have to wait and see what happens and in 5 days from placing them in the aquarium I begin feeding them. Woo-Hoo! Yes...I'm a dork..I know. Tre woke up an hour earlier on this day so he went down an hour earlier. He took a good nap and once he was awake we got ready and went over to my friend Sarah's house, it was a nice afternoon and we were dying to get out of the house but I was not dying to chase Tre too much. So it worked out great! Tre had lots of fun playing with Ella's new birthday toys and Ella of course. Jammer got off work early since he was in training the 2nd half of his shift and he ended up getting in an hour surf while we played at Sarah & Ella's house. Then we got home and Tre ate a GREAT dinner and we got him ready for bed.

Tuesday, May 25th Jammer had the day off and we hung in the morning at the house. Tre is LOVING his new trains on his train table and it is hard to peel him away from the house at times because he doesn't want to leave the table. So he played a lot with that in the morning and ate a GREAT breakfast. Gotta love when they eat willingly. It wasn't traditional breakfast food, but it was a good meal nonetheless which he had specifically requested. Then while Tre napped, Jammer went surfing and I did some stuff on the computer. After Tre woke up we got ready and went to La Costa Grill with our friend/neighbor Will. Then after La Costa Grill we went to Target and then back to the house before my HOA Board Meeting.

Wednesday, May 26th we had a birthday party in the morning for Tre's friends Robert and Elizabeth. So we did that until it was time to go home for nap. After nap we went over to my friend Allison's house for some play time.

Thursday, May 27th Tre and I had preschool class in the morning. It was my turn to bring snack. After class we stopped in at Home Depot to pick up some paint to repaint the master bathroom. During Tre's nap my neighbor Rachel watched the monitor for about 30 minutes so I could go check out a house for rent. After nap we ended up just hanging out at the house until Jammer got home from work.

Friday, May 28th Tre and I hung at the house until Jammer got home from his work meeting, then we all ate breakfast and hung out till it was time for Tre's nap. Then Jammer had to go back to work to work the late shift. After Tre woke up from his nap we played at the house. I was dealing with a lot of stuff in regards to our refinance and potential rental we are looking to move into. We went to Costco after that to pick up some things.

Saturday, May 29th Tre and I hung out at the house in the morning and then made a quick stop to check out a house for rent. We met the agent and walked around. It was hard to check it out with Tre running around since I had to try and keep an eye on him as well as check out the place, luckily the agent was nice and would help watch him so I could walk around and look. Then Tre took a short nap (almost an hour and a half). He was starting to sound a little stuffy so I decided to just stay home. Then Jammer got home from work and played with Tre for a little bit until it was time for bed. That night Tre had a tough time sleeping, I think his congestion was getting worse.

Sunday, May 30th Tre and I hung at the house, he took another short nap (less than an hour and a half). He was sick so I didn't want to take him anywhere, however, we had to go to the store for a quick run for medicine since the recall on Motrin we didn't have any medicine for him at the house. Got him some generic brand motrin and some things to hopefully help with the congestion. Jammer had to work the entire day so he got home just before it was time for Tre to get to bed. We did a quick bath to hopefully help with the congestion and just clean Tre off since he was running a little warm that day. Then set up this PediaCare Gentle Vapors Vapor Plug in to help Tre breathe through the night, plus put some Baby Vapor Rub on his chest. I think it all really helped as he slept through the night without waking up once.

Monday, May 31st Jammer had the day off and unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of the beautiful day and do some outdoor activity since Tre did not sound so great. I was worried Tre was going to take another short nap, but it must be thanks to the vapor plug in and vapor rub because he ended up taking a 3 hour nap. YAY! He needed it and so did I...even though I didn't get to nap because I kept thinking he was going to take another short nap like the two days prior. I was glad just for the fact that sleep will help him get better. When he woke up we decided to just hang out at the house and keep Tre in, so hard to do when it was so nice out. But necessary! He was a little difficult to put down for bed though, but eventually he fell asleep.

Tuesday, June 1st Jammer had the day off. I can't believe it is already JUNE! In a month and 8 days my little boy is going to be 2 years old!!! Poor kid is still sick. I think at this point it is the end of it, he is coughing a little more, which I'm assuming is his body trying to get rid of all the congestion junk. His nose is less runny but still running. He seems to be in good spirits otherwise. Probably because Daddy is SO fun to play with that it keeps his mind off being sick. Wish I could be more fun but this growing belly is not allowing much wrestling and wild action. Tre took a 2 hour and 40 minute nap. It was such a bummer because Tre had a birthday party to go to this afternoon but I didn't want to expose him to the other kids in case he could still be contagious. So I ended up dropping off the gift at the party while Jammer and Tre waited in the car. After leaving the party we went and picked up some food and then ran a few errands. Back to the house for our nighttime routine.

Wednesday, June 2nd Tre was doing MUCH better. Thank goodness! His nose was only runny if he sneezed but he wasn't warm anymore and he seemed to be breathing much better. We stayed at the house in the morning but I finally got a hold of someone for a house we wanted to check out and my awesome neighbor Rachel came and hung out with Tre while I went really quickly to check it out. One of the things I will miss dearly about living here is our awesome neighbors!! We have met some great people living here and having them close by if we may ever need anything is going to be a hard thing to be without! Then after Tre's nap we got ready and I had to stop by a leasing place to pay a rental application fee. Crossing our fingers that we get this place!!! Then we came back home and Jammer got home from work shortly after that. We had our lender coming by the house at 7pm to sign some paperwork for our refinance.

Thursday, June 3rd is normally when we would go to our weekly preschool class, however Tre had a long night of waking up, coughing, crying and not sleeping very well, so I decided that maybe it would be best to continue to keep him home a bit longer. I would hate for him to be coughing on any of the other kids in class. Such a bummer because he really likes preschool! Only 2 more classes left so it's a bummer to miss the last of them until Fall (if we decide to continue). Jammer also had training today so he wasn't expected to be home until 6pm...so what to do with Tre for the day? He went down for nap and then when he woke up we hung out at the house. We ended up just playing with Tre's train table until Jammer got home from work.

Friday, June 4th morning was rough, I think Tre was at wit's end with being at home. I checked with his doc to make sure that he wasn't contagious anymore and with it being 6 days since he got sick it was safe to take him out into the world. Thank goodness because he was not a happy kid being cooped up in the house all week and only getting out to do quick errands. My friend Sarah had invited us to go swimming. It was a beautiful afternoon and as soon as Tre woke up from his nap I asked him if he wanted to go swimming and he was ALL about it. He was about ready to leave the house without getting ready. We got ready to go and packed all the necessary stuff and we were out the door. It was so much fun, the community pool had a little 1 foot wading pool for the kids to play in, which was perfect. I was able to stand in the water and play with the kids. It was a fun afternoon and Tre was in a great mood. Which helped his mood for the rest of the evening as well. He was a happy little man to get out having fun. Jammer got home a little bit after us.

Saturday, June 5th Jammer worked the late shift so he was home with us in the morning. I had to go sign some lease papers while Jammer watched Tre at the house. We submitted our deposit for the new house we are moving to and signed the lease papers and were all set until moving time. Which in fact is on the 19th! YIKES! Can't believe we are going to be moving...it's a very bittersweet situation...I love our condo and the area, but am looking forward to having a backyard for Tre to play in and a little bit more space to include another little Anderson who will be making his debut in 3 months and a few days (maybe less if he's like his big brother and decides to come early). Jammer put Tre down for nap and then got ready for work. When Tre woke up from his nap we ended up just hanging out at the house.

Sunday, June 6th was the day of my belated Mother's Day, to see the post for this click here. We took a picture from this day but I haven't gotten a copy from my sis yet, so I'll have to post that up a little later.

Monday, June 7th Tre and I hung at the house in the morning. Tre had a bit of a tantrum when it came time for nap. Finally he went down for a nap, just under 2 hours. After nap we got ready to go pick up some paperwork from our property manager's office for our refinance and then went over to my friend Edith's house to pick up a check for a site I did for her husband as well as hang for a bit so Tre can play with her daughters. We get home and Jammer was home from work. Since our TV in the living room broke yesterday we were hanging out in our bedroom until it was time for the nighttime routine to begin.

Tuesday, June 8th Jammer and I took Tre to Leo Carrillo Park to look at peacocks and run around with his play group. There were SO many peacocks and they were loud! Some of the kids were a little nervous around them and others were very brave. Tre was pretty brave but then just wanted to roam the property. Thank goodness Jammer was there to follow him around, it's tough to keep up with this kid as I grow. Then Tre went down for his nap & Jammer left for work. When Tre woke up we hung out. I had a potential renter coming to look at the condo at 4pm so we had to hang out until he showed up and left. Then just hung out til bedtime.

Wednesday, June 9th we had a potential renter come take a look at the condo as well as an appraiser to do the appraisal on our condo for our refinance. Busy morning. Then after nap Tre had a preschool class graduation party to go to. One of the Moms planned a party for our kiddos since it's the day before our last day of preschool class till Fall (if we decide to continue, which we would like to, it just depends on how things go with 2 kiddos). After the preschool class grad party we went back to the house so I could meet a potential renter, Jammer got home just before she arrived so it was nice to have him watch Tre while I could focus on the renter. She left and then we got ready and decided to go see if we could meet up with my friend Precia and her family who were camping at San Elijo Campgrounds. It worked out perfectly. We got there, Jammer went looking for the campsite numbers while I waited with Tre, I called Precia to check to see if they were still there and it all came together. They were getting ready to go get dinner and we were really hungry so we stopped off at their campgrounds and then we all met over at Besta Wan Pizza across the street from the campgrounds. They were camping with a family of 4 and they are a family of 4 so it was a big group of us. We had some pizza and then went home and put Tre to bed. It was so great to see Precia and talk to her and just catch up. She and I have known each other since I was in 4th grade (her in 5th). We were neighbors for all of our younger years.

So the day has come where Tre is exactly 1 month before his 2nd birthday!! I'm so behind on choosing a party theme and getting things situated for his 2nd birthday. With us moving, did I mention that? We are moving on the 20th and 21st of June...so I've had my hands full with potential renters coming to look at our condo and us packing our stuff to move to the new house. Plus I have been having a hard time choosing a theme for Tre's party this year. Hopefully I can figure it all out VERY soon. Next month's post is going to be here before I know it and that means my baby boy is going to be 2 years old!! I think I might cry a little...hehe!

Now for the collection of pics from this past month...it's a pretty measly collection...not nearly as vast as the many months before...feel kinda sad about it...looks like getting sick twice in one month and 3 months before baby #2 is due is wearing on me...

Belated Mother's Day

Every year my sister Ashley and I take my Mom to Laguna Beach and eat at Johnny Rocket's and then walk around the shops and stuff. This year unfortunately, Ashley had to work on Mother's Day so we had to reschedule. Also, my sister Jennifer wanted to try and do something with our Mom as well. So we ended up picking a day a few weeks later so we all could get together to celebrate Mother's Day with our Mom. Worked out good since both Jennifer and I are Moms as well so we did stuff with our family on Mother's Day and then was able to do something with our Mom as well.

So to prepare for the day, Jammer went surfing in the morning while Tre and I hung at the house. Then when he got back I got cleaned up and ready to go up to Laguna Beach. Jammer stayed home with Tre so I could go up and meet my Mom and sister's in Laguna at 11am. We met at Johnny Rockets. I actually got there before they did, woo-hoo! I was even running late since Jammer got home a little later from surfing than I had anticipated. So I went into Johnny Rocket's and grabbed a both and waited for them to show up. My Mom, sister Ashley and sister Jennifer showed up and we all hung out & ate lunch. Then after Johnny Rocket's we walked around and looked at some shops. It was a nice afternoon. Unfortunately, time flew by too quickly and it was time for me to head back home. I left around 3pm while my sisters and Mom stayed for quite some time after, bummer for me, I didn't realize the plan was an all day thing so I had planned for just a few hours.

Plus I had to get home to help clean up the house since we had some potential renters coming to look at the condo. However when I got home things were a little eerie. When I left I called Jammer to let him know I was on my way. Last I had heard from him he had said that Tre wasn't napping so I assumed they were busy. I come home, the front door is open (screen was closed), Noa was locked on the patio barking VERY loudly, Jammer and Tre are nowhere to be seen and Jammer's phone is on the kitchen counter. Hmmmmm....where are they? I then walk down the hall and notice Tre's bedroom door is shut so I turn on the monitor and there is Tre sleeping in his crib! Okay, so that answers the where is Tre question, but now where is Jammer? We have made it so Tre's room is nice and dark for nap time so I tried to pop my head in without disturbing my napping baby but I couldn't see anything, it was too dark. So I decided to just clean up rather than waste more time. I could only assume that Jammer was in Tre's room as well.

Finally around 4:20pm I heard Tre making some noise on the monitor and then I heard Jammer talking to him. Come to find out they both took a 3 hour nap! LUCKY! At this point I was a little frantic trying to get the last few things needed to be moved that I couldn't do by myself. All worked out and the house looked great! The couple arrived right on time and walked around and checked things out. I then went downstairs with them to show them the garage, pool & where the mail comes. Answered their questions and then they took 2 applications and left.

We've had a few more people contact us and I am setting up appointments for this week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can find tenants that will work out well for us as well as the community.

Condo for Rent

CONDO IS CURRENTLY RENTED!!!

Jammer (Mike) and I are in the process of setting up a rental for us to move to for our expanding family, which then leaves our condo available for rent. I thought I would post on our blog first before posting it up on Craigslist to see if anyone we know or anyone you know, might be looking for a place to rent in the La Costa, Carlsbad area. Our 3 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is close to tons of stuff, walking distance to the grocery store, library, places to eat, post office, etc. If it's not walking distance it is only a matter of a few minutes drive time. Plus it is only about 5 minutes or so to the beach. We have LOVED living in this condo and the location is perfect!

I have posted some pics of our condo at the link below. Some of these pics were taken when we first moved in to the condo so there are a few changes. I've added a few recent pictures as well.

Click on this link to check out all the information regarding the condo and pics: http://donelleandjammerfamily.shutterfly.com

Please let me know if you or someone you know might be interested in checking it out and/or renting it from us or have any questions.
